Of course you were missed JJ.
What is it with the Cards not being able to beat their ex-pitchers? Marquis only has one other win besides what he has against the Cardinals. And last night against the Cards, Suppan had his first complete game since July 2003 when he had his last complete game against the Cardinals.

oi! I knew this was going to be a crucial series... We needed to win this series. However, I still say the NL Central is the Brewers' to lose. I don't think the Cubs have what it takes to get past them. And, even if they do get past the Brewers, there's still the Braves or Mets to deal with. I really think the NL WS rep will come out of the East.
Can anyone say 99 years and counting?

Still only second place JJ, your looking at the Brewers butt
10 times since 1908 have we won the World Series. We may not make the playoffs this year, but it'd only be like twice in the past 10 years we haven't.
Don't count on Oct just yet

Okay, I dont take any day the cubs win for granted . With the cubs its one day at a time < > I am just happy they are not on the bottom and wth is up with the astros this year? I like the usual 3 way run cards/astros/cubs. I will be rooting for the cards this weekend BEAT THE BREWERS!!!!!!

I was expecting you to root for us, seeing as tho if we win you could possibly take first place.
The Astros lost their top two pitchers, they ain't goin nowhere without starting pitching.

Small tear revealed in Soriano's quad Star not expected back before Labor Day; Cubs stay confident ________________________________________^__________ _______________________________________Try to______
That's supposed to make it look like I put in an extra mark in case anyone doesn't know what the hell I'm doing.
They'll try to stay confident. But we all know what's looming. The dark specter looking over their shoulder, about to place his cold, clamy hand on their shoulder.
Not that the Cards will be there to pick up the pieces when the Cubs will inevitably fail. Maybe it'll be the Brewers, but we all know who it won't be:
The Cubs (in case you didn't remember)

Hey, did JJ say she liked "the usual 3-way"? Only two more days until we go to Chicago for 4 games. Cards are winning 3-0 in the 2nd inning of game 2 against the Brewers. Pujols and Rolen homered in the first, Edmonds was on when Rolen hit his.

Too bad for Zambrano. He was pitching damn good to. Oh well, that game will be made up here, in St. Louis now
Cards were up 5-3 when this game was stopped.
I think the Cubs are afraid of success. Right when things are starting to go your way, BAM, rain dleays galore.
Albert Pujols and Rick Ankiel homer, Scotty Rolen drives in a few. You guys got out while ya could.
Face it, this division is ours
Pullin tarp off now

Keep ROLLLIN!!!!!!
I'll be there tomorrow, look for me, I'll be the one catching Albert Pujols walk off Homer in my beer.
Just give up Cubs, $445 million in salary will just get you an expensive 2nd or possible 3rd place in the division.
