This is called a "lateral thinking" puzzle... My kids told me this one...
Two men are found dead in a cabin on the side of a mountain. There were obvious signs of a fire. How did they die?

I love lateral-thinking puzzles. Do we keep asking questions, until we narrow it down? I used to host a Lateral-Thinking game on a forum, and everyone would ask a question that had to be answered with a "yes" or a "no."
Question: Were the two men related?

Question: Were the two men related? It's not important.

Question: Were the two men related? It's not important. ^^ I forgot to say, "yes, no.....OR not relevant." Question: Did they die from lack of air?

I modified your original post & added about the fire.
Question: Was the fire contained in....say a fireplace?

I'd have to say yes.

Chile asked a question, too. His question: Was there a hole in the roof of the cabin?

Sorry...
Chile: Hole in the roof of the cabin? No
Thong: Froze to death? No
NOTE: I mistated the puzzle a little... I made the change. I don't know if it's a big deal... thus far, it doesn't change the answers I've given, but it might change how you think about the puzzle...
