A large truck is crossing a bridge one mile long. The bridge can only hold 14,000 pounds which is the exact weight of the truck. The truck makes it half way across the bridge and stops. A bird lands on the truck. Does the bridge collapse? Give a reason for what happens.

The bridge might collapse, if an airplane dropped a frozen turkey on top of the truck.

It depends. Assuming the truck runs on gas or vegetable oil or something, then no it does not crash. To drive 1/2 of a mile would take a way 1/2 a mile worth of gas, which is bound to weigh more then a little bird. So no, the bridge would be fine.
