A dog can run fifty miles in a day. How far could he run into a 120 square mile forest in two days?

Ah, he can only run 50 miles into the forest.........after that, he will be running away from (or out of) the forest. So the answer must be 50 miles?

Ah, he can only run 50 miles into the forest.........after that, he will be running away from (or out of) the forest. So the answer must be 50 miles? ok - I'll give it to you... Go back to the question - I gave you the area of the forest, not how wide it it... but, you are correct - he can only run into the forest so far. Beyond that point, he is running out of the forest. That point is the halfway point...
