Eddie Murphy's latest movie, " Meet Dave," has been called the top "stinker-roo" of the year, so far. I haven't seen it, but I've seen the trailers. Seems like that guy can't do a movie, unless it has a gimmick. Lately, he's been doing a lot of dual and triple roles via makeup and prosthetics, etc. And he's not had a big hit for years. Anyway, two weekends ago, we were down in St. Louis for an overnight casino & golfing trip. When we were driving home toward Illinois, I saw this HUGE fiber-glass head coming down the highway on the opposite side, being towed by a truck. I could tell it was the head of a black man, but I was only seeing the back. Then when it passed us, I turned around and saw the face, it was Eddie Murphy's face! Can you imagine driving behind that gigantic face of Eddie Murphy staring back at you? It must've been going toward St. Louis for the opening of his movie. Did anyone see "Meet Dave?" So far, the movie's title has been used as a euphemism for "really bad movies" in many reviews of other movies. Ex: This movie is not on my recommended list - it only gets 1 star. But at least it's not "Meet Dave" bad!

I don't know why he is making bad movies like that. Pluto Nash was another. I did like him in "The Nutty Professor" and the "Dr. Doolittle" movies, "The Haunted Mansion" wasn't bad either.
