HARRISBURG, Pa. (AP)—Plaxico Burress is in court again. A trial is scheduled to begin Wednesday in Pennsylvania to determine how much the New York Giants wide receiver will have to pay in damages for a car he leased before it was impounded by New York City police. Court papers say Burress leased a 2004 Chevrolet Avalanche worth more than $36,000 from a Lebanon County car dealer in exchange for promises to appear at publicity events. But the civil complaint filed by car dealer Frederick Laurenzo says Burress never returned the car and did not show up to sign autographs. Laurenzo also says the car was seized by New York City police after Burress let someone else use it. sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news?slug=ap-burress-cardispute&prov=ap&type=lgnsIt is a $36, 000 car, why dosent this idiot just pay for the car and make it all go away?

He's a train wreck... biggest reason the Giants lost to the Iggles on Sunday was because Plaxico wasn't suited up. He should be cut and no one should sign him.
but, they will. just like Michael Vick will play again.

I dont think Vick ever will ever play in the NFL again. The animal rights people are not going to just shut up and go away. They will "hound" him and any team that even thinks about signing him.

Who knows if he has even kept himself in shape? He could be a physical train wreck for all we know.

I doubt PETA will be able to keep Vick off the field.

If he does land a job, the protests outside the stadiums will be HUGE. I dont think any NFL team will risk the bad PR that comes with him

I doubt PETA will be able to keep Vick off the field. I think alot of people were willing to give Leonard Litttle a second chance as they were led to believe what a fine upstanding young man he was who made one serious error in judgement. We later found out that is not the case. A lot of people have made the mistake of drinking and driving and think, "Hell that could have been me" Not many people will say, "Gee I have tortured animals before, that was just an error in judgement" It was sadistic, and I dont think people will be able to forgive and forget so easily. I wouldnt want him on the Rams even if it meant a for sure trip to the Super Bowl, in fact they would lose me as a customer if they picked him up.
