Sheryl Crow's recent claim that she would be working with Fleetwood Mac surprised a lot of people -- including the members of the classic rock group.
Crow, 46, who's friendly with Mac's Stevie Nicks, told the AOL music website Spinner.com earlier this month that she and the band "definitely have plans for collaborating in the future, and we'll see what happens."
"I think we were all a little surprised (Crow) was announcing that to the world with such certainty," Fleetwood Mac principal Lindsey Buckingham, 58, told Billboard.com with a laugh.

That's funny!
If they did collaborate, it would be interesting.

Sheryl Crow is no Christine McVie... I love McVie's voice. She makes the band if you ask me. I like Sheryl ok, i'm not a huge fan. I don't think she will add much to the band, but that's my opinion.

thanks, Chile!! Her voice is awesome to me!! She is the reason I am a Fleetwood Mac fan. Lindsay Buckingham and Stevie Nicks are okay vocalists, but I love Christine!!

I saw that song live and it just blew me away. After the concert was over and they had done like two encores, they roll out this lone baby grand piano and Christine walks out on stage all by herself and plays Song Bird solo. She was the only one onstage and just brought the house down. It was awesome.

I just pulled this off of YouTube to put on my iPod. I love this version. It's better than the one they released on Rumours...

I often like the live versions better.
