No that's not a typo, I meant to write it.
The Red Sox have become everything they used to stand against, the Yankees.
Hopefully they saved the receipt, maybe they can put it in the hall of fame

Hopefully they saved the receipt, maybe they can put it in the hall of fame huh? that's the nature of the game, now... that goes back to the day when Gene Autry paid (then) exorbitant money to obtain Rod Carew. He wanted a championship and doing it the "old way", building up from the farm system, wasn't cutting it. Autry short-circuited the process back then and brought in a veteran. they got close, but never got the brass ring. That ushered in the era of free-agency and now every team that is looking for a championship goes for the hired guns. that's the business of the game now...

Then, if you're the Marlins, you have a fire sale and sell all of your star players to the highest bidder so you can turn a champoinship into HUGE profits.
