can't wait for the shearing that's gonna happen when the Rams go to Foxborough next Sunday... holy crap...
The Rams winning streak will come to an abrupt halt...

I'm not sure I'd call two games a streak. And as I said to everyone at the party last Saturday night who were predicting a Cowboys blowout..."On any given Sunday."

I dont care what anyone says, the Rams have more talent than their record showed. They needed a coaching change, and to act like they actually wanted to win. I predict a much closer game than most people are expecting.

I agree thongers, and I hope the rumors are not true, that the players were purposely taking a dive to get a new coach, that would almost make me not be a sports fan anymore...

I hadn't heard that. Is there any validity to it? Where did you hear it?

Hadley says he is getting the question more and more from listeners...

the performance of the Rams lends a lot to that theory... You don't suddenly get good enough to beat the Redskins when you've been blown out every game of the season up to that point.
Haslett was the Defensive Coordinator. This is the defense HE was in charge of. So, they go from giving up an average of 36+ pts/ game to holding the next to teams to just over 15+ pts/game the next 2? and it's just because Haslett is the coach instead of Linehan?
I don't buy it... It really looks like they were sandbagging Linehan to me...

What did they have against Linehan?

I couldn't tell ya... He seemed like a nice enough guy... but I don't know what (or if) they had against him. I'm just tellin' ya what it looks like.
This is the same defense that Haslett could get nothing out of for four games as Defensive Coordinator. Suddenly, now that he's head coach, the D-Line is really stingy with points? how does that happen?

I don't believe they were intentionally throwing games. I do believe however they were unmotivated and were not giving 100%. Coaching is more than calling the right plays, its about motivation and getting people to live up to their potential.

Coaching is more than calling the right plays, its about motivation and getting people to live up to their potential. These guys are not college athletes any more. They get HUGE salaries. That ought to be motivation enough. If they need to have a pep talk on top of their million dollar salaries, they should find a different job. I get paid less per year than what some of these guys get per GAME and I don't need to be jacked up by my boss every week to do my job... If they can't play worth a damn because Scott Linehan couldn't say the right words in the locker room, then maybe they should find another line of work.

So if your boss comes out and says you did a crappy job. And you need to get better at it. Are you going to leave and find a different job?
